EP217 diluent for SR5550/SD550x

To be used with the SR5550 wood / general purpose epoxy.
  • You can make your own low viscosity epoxy primer with it. As the EP217 is a diluent rather than a solvent, it becomes part of the resin system so you don’t have to wait 10 days or so to get the solvents to evaporate from it, but just continue with the SR5550. As a solvent free system, there is no risk of solvent entrapment.
  • To use, mix the resin and hardener together normally, and then mix the EP217 into the total mixed resin to get the viscosity right down so it penetrates into the wood. Max dilution is 2:1 by volume.
  • It saves you having 2 resins on the shelf - just buy the SR5550 and the diluent.
