A multi purpose epoxy system which will suit many composite applications. Recommended for large size parts.

Good mechanical properties. Good performance/price ratio.

The SR 8500 / SD 870x system is well suited for the production of composite parts working at temperatures of up to 70°C. A post cure treatment is strongly suggested.

You can order the kit with either a fast or slow hardener:
The two hardeners available have extreme reactivities:

SD 8605, fast hardener, accelerator.
SD 8601  ultra slow hardener, low viscosity with high wetting characteristics.

The hardeners can be blended to different ratios in order to adjust for the working time required.

Also exists in a thixotropic formulation and SR 8500 Black Gel.
